There is not a specific API to retrieve the property of a widget, but the following code can be used for this purpose:
getObj(id).pui.properties[propertyName];
Paramaters:
- id - the widget id
- propertyName - the name of the widget's property
Examples:
var buttonWidth = getObj("Button1").pui.properties["width"];
var myWidgetData = getObj("Image1").pui.properties["user defined data"];
